vocational, graded examinations in dance:

The RA.D. Vocational Graded Examinations in Dance ( formerly Major syllabi ) are quite different to the Graded Examinations as they are designed to develop the strong technical base needed for a professional career if the student should so choose. This does NOT mean that only 'intending professionals' should consider these examinations as they ARE within the reach of most students, provided they understand that the standard required for a PASS at Vocational Graded Examination level is considerably higher than in the Graded Examination Syllabi.

It is therefore necessary for students to attend an absolute minimum of three lessons weekly over the two year period if they wish to make the Vocational Graded Examinations. It is also strongly recommended that students attend as many additional classes as possible.

As with the Graded Examinations, the Vocational examination are not compulsory but will be offered to all students who have attained the necessary standard.

Potential candidates will be selected prior to the examination session now held in June / July.

Potential candidates MUST attend a week of holiday classes prior to examination AND any additional Classes
