Musical Theatre is a class where students can combine all three components of the school- singing, dancing and acting.

Students will learn songs in their singing class that will then be taken into their dance class and have choreography put to it. Students can often be talented singers and talented dancers but when asked to put it together and do it at the same time, can struggle. Students will learn to sing live and dance and also have components of acting in their delivery. Classic musicals and also new and modern musicals will be used throughout the year and teachers will also focus on how to "audition" for a theatre show.

Musical Theatre still holds a large portion of employment within Australian Entertainment and learning the skills of Musical theatre may provide your child with the edge when auditioning in the professional world.

Musical Theatre is available to students Grade 5 and above.
